Institut universitaire de technologie

The Social Work department of the IUT2 Grenoble was founded in 1967. Since then it prepares, in its initial cycle, for three seperate options of the Social Careers DUT:
 

• Social assistant
• Social and cultural worker
• Specialized educator

A third year after the DUT is also available. It prepares students for the social assistant state diploma (DEASS in French) or the specialized educator state diploma (DEES in French) according to the option they have chosen. This third year also allows students to present the university diploma in social work (DUTS in French).
