The IUT2

A word from the Director

Studying at the IUT2, which has been a part of Université Grenoble Alpes since 1 January 2016, enables students to continue their studies immediately or on a deferred basis following the award of a DUT (2-year undergraduate degree), BUT (3-year undergraduate degree) or Licence Professionnelle (professional bachelor's degree).

With a Bac+2/+3 (Associate's or Bachelor's degree) diploma, getting a job straight after your studies is possible, but the diplomas are also perfectly compatible with a decision to continue your studies later on. The instruction given at the IUT2 includes lectures, seminars and labs, as well as supervised projects. These individual and group educational activities are intended to provide a methodological framework for the student's work, reinforced by a mandatory professional internship. The IUT2 also has an international network that provides additional opportunities to study abroad as part of the many programs offered by its partners.

The IUT2 also possesses a rich network of professional contacts. These contacts help our institution function smoothly and support our teaching staff, who are organized around 7 specialties. Our students receive individual support throughout their studies, from both professors and professionals, in a friendly, international environment.

By acquiring knowledge and developing skills and behaviors, our students increase their chances of successfully transitioning to the professional environment.
